These terms are the agreement between you and Pure Rez LLC, a limited liability company organised in the State of Utah, trading as Pure Rez. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old. The service is offered only to residents of the United States. It is not offered to, marketed to, or directed at people located outside the United States, and we may decline or terminate accounts that appear to be outside that scope. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your password private.
Pure Rez is paid for in credits, purchased in advance. A 4K upscale costs 1 credit and an 8K upscale costs 6 credits. The cost of a job is fixed at the moment you submit it, so a later change to our pricing never changes the price of a job already in progress.
Credits are a prepaid balance for using the service. They are not currency, carry no cash value, earn no interest, cannot be transferred between accounts, and are not redeemable for money. If a job fails on our side after our automatic retries are exhausted, the credits for that job are returned to your balance automatically. Credits consumed by a job that produced a result are not refundable simply because you are unhappy with how the result looks — the output of an AI model varies by image, and we make no promise about the appearance of any particular result.
You keep all rights in the images you upload and in the upscaled results. You grant us only the limited permission needed to run the service: to store your image, transmit it to the GPU servers that perform the upscale, generate the result and a preview thumbnail, and deliver those back to you. We do not use your images to train models and we do not sell them.
You promise that you own or otherwise have the right to upload every image you submit, and that submitting it does not infringe the rights of any other person or break any law. You must also follow our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms.
A finished upscale stays available for download for 90 days after it completes, after which it is deleted and the entry in your history shows as expired. The original image you uploaded is deleted within roughly 7 days of the job finishing. Download anything you want to keep. We are not a backup service and we do not promise to hold your files beyond these windows.
The service depends on rented GPU capacity, and processing time varies with demand and image size. We do not promise any particular turnaround time or uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the service, and we will give reasonable notice where a change would materially affect credits you have already bought.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, that is used unlawfully, or that presents a risk of fraud or chargeback abuse. Where an account is terminated for a violation, unused credits are forfeited. You may close your account at any time; how we handle your data afterwards is described in our Privacy Policy.
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data.
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will give notice by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Utah have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
