This policy explains what Pure Rez LLC collects when you use Pure Rez, where that information goes, how long it is kept, and what you can ask us to do with it. Pure Rez is offered only to residents of the United States.
Account information. Your email address, a securely hashed version of your password, and your phone number. The phone number is used to send a one-time verification code and to confirm your identity before a purchase.
The images you upload. The photo you submit, a small preview thumbnail generated in your browser, and the upscaled result we produce. We also record the original filename so your download has a sensible name.
Job records. For each upscale: which tier you chose, how many credits it cost, timestamps, how long the render took, and whether it succeeded, failed or was cancelled. Your credit balance is kept as an append-only ledger of purchases, charges and refunds.
Download records. Each time you download a result we record your account, the job, the time, your IP address and your browser user agent. This is our evidence that a paid-for product was delivered, which we need in order to respond to payment disputes and chargebacks.
Payment information. When payments go live they are handled by Stripe. Card numbers never reach our servers and we do not store them.
Upscaling is computationally heavy, so it runs on dedicated GPU servers that we provision on demand from a vetted compute provider rather than on the web servers that host this site. When you submit a job, your image is sent to one of those servers, processed, and the result is written back to our storage. A server holds a working copy only for the duration of your job; when the instance is released, that copy is destroyed with it.
We control which hosts our jobs are allowed to run on, and the credentials a rendering server receives are scoped to writing results and nothing else — a rendering server cannot read the stored files of any customer, including yours, and never holds a credential that would allow it to. Your own access to your files happens through short-lived signed links issued only to you.
We use a small number of service providers to run Pure Rez: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), Railway (the job dispatcher), a GPU compute marketplace (rendering, as described above), Twilio (sending your verification code), and, once payments are live, Stripe (payments) and Resend (email notifications). Each receives only what it needs to perform its function. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Your finished upscale stays downloadable for 90 days, after which the file is deleted and the history entry shows as expired. The original photo you uploaded is deleted within roughly 7 days of the job finishing. Preview thumbnails stay with your history entry. Job records, the credit ledger and download records are financial and delivery records and are kept for as long as we may need them for accounting, tax and dispute purposes.
You can permanently delete your account yourself from the Security page while signed in. You will be asked to type your account email address and your password to confirm. Deleting your account signs you out everywhere, permanently deletes your uploaded images, results, thumbnails and job history, removes your name, email address and phone number from the account, and permanently disables sign-in on it. Any credits you have not used are forfeited when the account is deleted. If you cannot sign in, you can also ask us by emailing support@purerez.com from the address on the account.
We do not delete everything. We retain the financial and delivery record of transactions that took place — the credit ledger and download logs — because we need them for accounting and tax purposes and to defend against payment disputes and fraud. Where an account was terminated for a violation of our Acceptable Use Policy, we also retain the material and records relevant to that violation so we can respond to law enforcement and prevent the same conduct recurring. Retained records are held separately from the live service, with access restricted to the people who need it.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it, subject to the retention described above. Email support@purerez.com and we will respond. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Pure Rez is not for children. You must be 18 or older to hold an account, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your images are stored in private buckets that are not publicly readable; access to a file happens through short-lived, signed links issued only to you. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. No system is perfect, and we cannot promise that a determined attacker will never succeed, but we design for least privilege and keep credentials scoped as narrowly as we can.
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will give notice by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
